Then why don’t businesses have a Chief of Staff? Well, in fact,, some do. But many of not most do not. Probably because they fully do not understand what the Chief of Staff role really is.
For other people they think if they are the CEO, the Owner, the founder, or have the letter “C” in their title that they are the Chief of Staff. And in some cases they may take on some of the roles and responsibilities, but in reality the Chief of Staff takes the pressure off the CEO.
